It's a bright, fun, and not overly challenging time-spender. If you want to beat things up in ARPG style and don't need a big committment to story or systems then this might be good to pick up on sale.
Enjoyable ARPG that satisfies an itch. I love playing a pet class and this game does that for me. Plus, the writing for the dialogue between the protagonist and companion, while a little corny, is very enjoyable.
Amusing title that has aged pretty well! Retro-future schlocky zombie bite 'em up has been pretty fun with tons of juvenile in-jokes for the adults. Full disclosure: there's a memory dance game that decimated me at level 4 and I'm glad the game offered a "skip this part" after I failed a couple of dozen times, otherwise I'd have been soft-locked stuck there. Don't sleep on using your tear-away arm to control soldiers to soften up difficult shooting galleries!
