A fun and intriguing sci-fi subterfuge management sim. Possibly the best game yet created by Arcen Games, with their signature post-singularity stylings.
This game is an absolute gem. You start off with a couple of highly motivated ideologues, and spread your shadow council throughout the world, not to conquer, no, that's for petty politicians, you are after power of a more universal sort. Subvert the infrastructure, companies, militaries, and other organizations of nations across the world, as you fight a shadow war for the future of humanity, in the midst of an insidious, creeping alien invasion. And that's just half the game! As you consolidate your power base on Earth, don't forget to look the stars! Build habitats on Mars, the Moon, then look to the Belts, and Ceres. Let your all seeing eye take overwatch of the entire solar system, while fleets of highly detailed, scientifically realistic warships mass near your orbital shipyards. This game is still in development, there are small bugs here and there, but the bones are phenomenal, and have more than enough meat on them already. Expect fantastic things. 10/10
Infraspace, despite being in Early Access at the time of this review, is already a well crafted and fun game. Taking inspiration from Cities Skylines, Factorio, and others, Infraspace sets itself apart from other logistics games and city builders with a clear focus on quality of life and clear information on the progress and status of your supply lines. The central mechanic is supplying the ever increasing needs of a large populace in a wasteland where everything must be made from scratch, from food to appliances to robots, even the air your people breathe, you must provide it all from raw resources. Highly recommended!
