lets me do all the stuff I want to do I can't. Own a farm, own a house, have a family and living in a small rural comunity. This game is a throw back to the old days of gaming before things got bland and either over or under complicated. Your effort matters and I highly recomend you look up some tips and tricks and things you should know. 5/5 A relaxing daydream of a game.
It really is the ultimate fishing simulator. Tons of different fish and fishing locations. Boat fishing, ice fishing, fly fishing, bait fishing lure fishing assically everything but spear and bow fishing is in here. Tons of different rods and fly fishing is extra fun as someone who fly fishes IRL the game actualy makes you present the fly just like you have to IRL. Lots of detail, lots of fish lots of relaxing fun. I gor what I paid for and the DLC is cheep too. If you like fishing but don't get to go as often as you want this will help scratch the itch.
One look at the DLC pack list tells you everything you need to know about how this game is monatized BUT this is a solid game. Civilization but 40k. If you like 40k and you like Sid Myers Civ you'll like this and the most important DLC is actually somewhat fair like faction ones but one unit has a 2 dollar tag on it if you check the list. 3 out of 5 because they're greedy but the product is solid. Get the stuff as it goes on sale for like 50% off and build up the pack peice by peice. This is GOG they do sales all the time.
I do highly recomend this game. It's already fun and has a fair amount of content but the devs are adding more. THAT SAID, this isn't a hunting game, it's a hunting sim and you will get pissed at times. I highly recomend you play on the easiest difficulty as even on that spooking animals is super easy. You have to account for bullet drop and your scent on the wind. You also have to place your shots exactly like in real life. If you hit a deer 3 times and none of them get anything important that deer will survive. Following blood trails is a massive part of fameplay and you have to account for it breaking if the deer crossed a river. Last I logged in I shot a deer I had to follow for 3 KM in game before I found it dead. This game is gunning for the realism approach you're going to spook half your hunts before you get a shot off but if you're looking for a realistic hunting sim you've found exactly what you're looking for right here. If you want a quick hunting shooter game this is not for you.
I got 14 hours in and the game broke. Quests stopped working because the buttons you need to click to finish the quest stopped working. No matter how many times you click them you can't accpet a new quest or complete one. If you buy this game there is a genuine chance you're buying a broken product that doesn't work. Garbageware, the fact this is even for sale is unethical. You can't sell a broken game and say that's ok especially one this bare bones. The fact there's DLC for this is a bad joke even with all the DLC there are mods better than this. You can clearly see there was promise but it was abandoned, it's unmoddable and I can't find any way to fix the bug because the game is so small in a fan base there are no posts online about bugs and how to fix them. I paid $10 for a game that doesn't work. Don't buy! unfourtunately it didn't break until my refund window was over so now I can't even buy something esle and I'm PO'd this needs to be taken off sale it's theft. If a game doesn't work you can't sell it!
SO MUCH WRONG WITH THIS!!! This is unbelievably bad purely from a mechanics perspective alone! Even on the easiest difficulty the enemy zerg rushes you in under three minutes and the game AI is completely broken! You'll have five trappers run right through the middle of your lines and clean passed your troops sometimes without even being attacked! There's no pause button and the pace of the game is unfeasible! On the easiest difficulty it felt like the highest difficulty in dawn of war 2!!! Did one single trapper sneak passed your lines because your entire army is nearsighted? Well guess what he's going to be line for the barracks and they're faster than you! Then he's going to use it as a firing position, but troops won't even return fire if they're being shot at from inside a building, so they just stand there like targets getting picked off! If you're really unlucky they'll set the building on fire, and they can do it the second they reach the building and once a building is on fire you can't put it out and when it explodes it kills everything inside meaning if you sent troops in to try and stop the unit, they die with the building. ALSO, once a building is broken the rubble has a de spawn time and there is no repair option! Did you have a nice little town set up and now your barracks blow up? Well too bad! They blew it up and now you have to wait for it to de-spawn and I hope you have space to place another because if you don't you can't build units now until either your old one is gone, and you can build another, or you just have to build one randomly. Your troops don't even have common sense! I set up a firing line expecting if an enemy rushed me, they'd lay down fire. They did nothing just got butchered. One time I gave my rifleman an order to attack a bison 3 times before they even started shooting and by then it killed 8 pikemen which are such useless fodder that it takes 5 of them just to kill one of your enemies' base units! Completely unplayable!
I booted uploaded into the campaigned and tried to beat the first mission on the easiest difficulty and this is unplayable trash! I get this is an old game but holy crap! First mission I spawn in with nothing and like 12 units, Meanwhile the enemy spawns with 50 plus a fortress and defensive towers! I had nowhere to build anything! Half of the things I tried to place I either couldn't or it didn't let me period! By the time I'd bought 12 troops for a total of 24 the enemy had over a hundred! I was so pissed and surprised at the speed I counted it's ridiculous! This is the worst strategy game I've ever seen in my entire life! I have never had bigger buyer's remorse so fast! Tell me in an RTS what the heck am I supposed to do when I can't build, I can't collect recourses, I can't make troops and the enemy spawns with basically a 20 to 1 advantage! I wish I was kidding it's literally this bad this is in the top five for the worst ever games I've played in my life. Refunded almost Immediately STAY AWAY this is out of date useless trash. Play age of mythology instead this was bad when it released!
