I've always heard about it and wanted to play it, but never had the pleasure of playing until now. It’s both happy and sad to see just how far ahead this game was—and, in some ways, still is compared to recent releases. The lighting is immaculate and sets the mood perfectly; it's rare to come across better. Enemy AI is genuinely challenging and fair—no aimbots or "they just hit harder" mechanics based on difficulty. They come at you tactically, making for fun, challenging, and engaging encounters. That said, I wish there were a greater variety of guns. They began to feel a bit stale, with many of them serving similar purposes. A few fresh locations or scenes could have also added some excitement; the change to the office tower was a positive step, but for me, the environmental creativity started to dip after that. (Granted, this is coming from a modern perspective.) Would absolutely recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it. Hell yeah!
