The art is pretty good. I liked how everything looked. The translation on some of the words was a little wonky, but the game is pretty fun other than that. Some of the stuff I don't really go for in it, but it's nice that people were accomodated for.
The controls are a little janky. I had to find some guides online to get the controller stuff to work. However, after I did that, the game runs fine. Music is great, the controls feel good. It's, according to a lot of old school MKers the best version of MK, which was a DOS version of the arcade port. It probably wasn't the greatest on the original release, but now, 30+ years later, feels like the most "uncorrupted" version of MK. My favorite character by the by is Kano, but you might like other characters. Thank you for your time and attention!
I like this game, but it's a lot harder. The matches are a lot harder, have new mechanics that take getting used to, and sometimes due to sheer luck, are completely unfair. I don't like the fact that the game actively discourages you from interacting with the girls (because you get baggage, another new mechanic which adds some punishing conditions from each girl), so you have to really think about your moves before you do them and sometimes you can't really win. I feel like the game is good, and it was nice that the developer actively worked on new mechanics to try and spice things up and add a lot more strategy, but I think it came at the cost of what made the first one nice, and it doesn't allow you (and actively punishes you) trying to get to know the girls/women in this one. That said, it's a fun game and match-3 stuff is a lot fun, and this series does it the best. You kind of got a preview of the new girls in HunieCam if you played it, so if you like management-style games you can play that and get a good sense of what the girls/women here will be like. I have enjoyed what these guys and gals do, so keep on keepin' on!
