DOOM (2016)

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

A decent Castlevania clone

So I´ve waited this long, for a decent Castlevania clone. Why decent? Well first, because the graphics are sometimes so overloaded, that you cannot distinguish between the back- and foreground. Beyond that, the graphics are really good. Second, the music is good, but nothing special. Third, and this is one of the biggest point of criticism, is that many characters of the game are just copied and a little modified characters from other games: Zangetsu -> Dante from Devil may Cry; Librarian -> Alucard from Castlevania and so on. Oh and the fourth thing goes to the balancing: nerfing the good shards instead of buffing the crap shards, so that players are forced to use them, is, to say it politely, just lazy. If you can´t balance, than let someone do it who can. The good things in Bloodstained are the really good story, perfect controls, the graphics (to some extend, which I described earlier), the difficulty (many difficulties available), the crafting system (much better than in Symphony of the Night) and many more. Conclusion: You get a decent game which has it´s pros and cons. My opinion is, to wait for the next updates (just to be sure, that the balancing is not getting worse) and then grab it with a discount.
