What an amazing blast from the past. They simply don't make imaginative games like this anymore...if you enjoy games with strategic command, building, resource management, tactical-level thought, and cool sci fi units, you'll love this game. The foe is of course an alien threat which humanity faces. Multiple scenarios/missions with an in-between base-building/base defense aspect. I spent many long hours of my youth strategizing certain missions, and never beat it...till now, I can revisit it with my much stronger strategic mind and re-attempt the conquest of the planet and beat back the alien invaders. What a great game!!!!!!
