Let's just say the original PS version is 5/5 although I slightly disagree with myself. 1) No ingame options menu and no manual to let me know how to change settings got me puzzled for awhile to figure out how. 2) the characters move wobbly, heard this is a continous issue from the original PC port. 3) No rumble support. I guess this is also from the original PC port but the PS1 original did had it so I would have liked it if they brought it back. 4) Since the mercenaries mini game doesn't save its data manually, its clear contents are applied to all main game. unless I'm mistaken and there is a way to avoid it, I'm never getting the infinite ammo bonus.
The game's fine, but if the Japanese version is installed, it won't save your data unless you change your PC settings a bit. It's a port of an old game so yeah this kinda stuff happens but in the words of Jill Valentine - "I didn't know that wasn't going to happen..."
Good to see the OG Biohazard/RE getting a port while Capcom is focusing making remakes. hope to see this trend of bringing back the classics to its current generation.
