Kingdom Rush Vengeance "improves" on previous entries in the series by adding a large variety of towers of which you can chose 5 to use. Personally I did not appreciate this as outside of the forced use in iron levels I never used the vast majority of the towers. This is basically the same as with the heroes, you use the first one until you get the best one and all the rest are pointless. Also the DLC is way too expensive for what it adds to the game. All in all still a very fun and engaging tower defense game, though in my opinion not as good as Origins.
A solid entry in a very enjoyable series. Simple gameplay with a low skill floor but a decent skill ceiling on higher difficulties. The heroes now level throughout the campaign.
