If it was not for the poor optimization and controls this game would be a whole lot more fun. I am experiencing many issues such as hitching with the frame rate as well as pop-in occurring, usually around the same time and especially during flying. My fps would go from 80 and drop down too 30. With the graphics side of things everything just looks blurry. I am playing at 1440p and everything should look sharp and clear. Then there are the controls, which are sluggish and unresponsive. When turning and aiming it feels like there is input lag, my guess is that there is mouse acceleration on. These are my main issues that I am having with the game so far. On the gameplay side of things, it is fun. I enjoy exploring the worlds and searching for resources. I am a fan of relaxing type of games. Basically the game is part survival and a lot of exploration and resource gathering. There are the survival aspects to the game, but they are not invasive and frustrating like on most survival type of games. The survival aspect is more of a background thing. I would not recommend this game to anyone at this moment until they fix the issues that are hindering the title.
