Dead Space 1 is definetely my personal favourite in Sci-Fi Horror Games. I first played it on the PS3: awesome. But on PC.... The controls are just awful. Non-deactivable mouse acceleration, different mouse speeds on X and Y axis are worse than anything. I can't play the first mission. There's no 3rd party mod support for this, or at least I haven't found one after 3/4 hours of googling. Game: Awesome. Horror game in a Sci-Fi setting with a good amount of weapons and enemies, which all behave differently. Focus was set on horror and not on action. No auto-heal and different ammo for each weapon, while having a very limited inventory makes you think about, wether you take an addtitional stack of ammunition or a Med-kit. My recommendation: If you have a PS3 or Xbox 360 lying around, get it there. Dead Space 1 isone of the worst PC ports.
