Initially went into this game thinking it would be a Quake clone to spend an afternoon or two on. After the first episode of levels, I knew I was getting into something so much more. The tension that builds with the lighting and enemies whispering cryptic phrases, the level design that varies from open to claustrophobic, this game is a love letter to older FPS games while still standing out on its own. Get it.
One of the most immersive RPG's of the decade with a wide variety of factions to talk to, plenty of guns to fire, and an open world that may appear desolate on the surface but has ample amounts of personality underneath to be discovered by the player. All this now enjoyed DRM-free!
