Incubation exe just sits in the background doing nothing at 5% of CPU with nothing visable on the screen. All The Battle Isle games seem to be broken one way or another.
Initially you get a video that won't work due to the ancient Indeo Codec. If you add all the codecs you can and stop windows 10/11 from blocking this codec in the registry. It still won't work. Get past this and you are present with some screens that are positioned in strange places. Then when you try to start a campaign, it crashes. Big mess, don't buy it, unless you have a Windows XP PC.
Classic game. I prefer this kind of thing with loads of shooting and no puzzles to think through. (I've used my brains all day at work, trhey neeed a rest.)
It does not work with my joystick and there is no way to configure it. It just spins wildy and I have checeked the calibration. It does have configuration files for CH Combat Stick, Saitek, Sidewinder, and Thrustmaster, but not mine which is a Raptor Mach 2. You can't create a configuration file yourself as there are loads of unexplained values in the files.
