Is this the best FPS game ever made? No, that would be Doom. However, Wolfenstein 3D is a key step in the gaming evolution from a historical perspective, but most importantly - it is still a great fun! And at the end of the day having fun is one of the most important things in life and the reason why we play video games, isn't it? It has it's flaws for today's standards (after all it was made in 1992), but its charm is undeniable. And, of course, it made a star of one of the greatest bad-asses in gaming - William Joseph "B. J." Blazkowicz.
I don't care who you are, but if you have never played Doom, you are not a gamer. If you have played it, but you don't like it, I don't like you as a human being and, please, don't talk to me.
Doom II, as its predecessor, is a game every developer wished he made. It is so good and so influencial that it's hard to describe in words. Just play it, if you haven't! You owe it to yourself as a gamer.
People are saying that this is one of the best RPG games out there. Well, I think they are wrong. The Witcher 3 is one of the best games ever made, regardless of genre! Incredible gameplay, phenomenal storytelling, breath-taking visuals, perfect setting and character interactions, beautiful music... The Witcher 3 has it all.
