Its a nice FPS at the beginning but becomes increasingly problematic later on. Crashes a lot, and/or screen locks. Way too many missions where you are just lost unsure what to do or where to go. I didn't finish it due to getting caught in a no ammo monster swarming death loop on the aircraft carrier flight deck. At 75% off for $5 it was worth what I played, but ultimately dissapointing not being able to finish due to not being willing to go back and replay that level over and over again.
Its a city builder. Not the best, not the worst. If you like city builders you will probably like this. I liked it. Its got minor problems. The difficlty jump between Easy and Normal is huge. Easy is too easy, Normal is too hard. I can't imagine the settings above Normal. I tried Normal and failed. I went back to Easy and enjoyed it.
Its a survival game with twists. Looting and crafting and searching and killing mosters all good. Has elements of dungeon crawler, tomb raider puzzle solving, and tower defense. Its not perfect but I enjoyed it despite soem issues. Its a bit too long. You can get lost in the quest lines but google can answer all. I had 1 bug where I had to task manager kill the program but it recovered fine after that. You only get the best 2 weopons at the end and so you don't really get to use them much.
Inadequate fast travel options and enemeies everywhere ready to jump on you makes a potentially great game just boring and frustrating. Throw in some bugs and it becomed unteanable. There is a bad bug right at the beginning where you get stuck in a room. I had to re-start 3 times to get through. As the game progresses the situation gets worse with more and stronger enemies all over you plus morter rounds hitting you from god knows where. I was not able/willing to finish the game.
Your basic, just, gotta, play, 1, more, turn, 4X. I have done 3 play throughs and seen no bugs
I enjoyed this game a lot but it was very difficult and I had to cheat. You can't change the difficulty level after you start. I picked Normal (should have picked Easy). I could not get past the early Carrier level. Enemies hit hard, spawn behind you, the screen will freeze occasionaly usually resulting in you dead, and save points are very far apart. I was ready to quit in frustration but some things saved my game. Manual Save: Press tilda ~ to enter command screen. Type "\save_game name" no quotes. Press ~ again. On Line Guides: Very helpful in getting past hard parts. Tells you where secret ammo and health are. My favorite was https://www.gamespot.com/articles/far-cry-walkthrough/1100-6094321/ With all that I still could not beat Krieger and his 4 goons. I had to do devmode and god mode for that 1 fight. Its an amusing romp, but not a fantastic game. The story is interesting, some of the scenery is wonderful. Most of the puzzles though are either too easy and obvious or too hard. They are only too hard by virtue of the fact that you missed an object pickup somewhere along the way. Now you have to google it or search the whole world over again to find something you missed. I recommend painstakingly search every scene with every character the first time there. Even then you'll probaly miss some things. The GUI is frustrating as it requires 2 or more clicks to do snything. One click to start it and one or more to get through the character dialog about it. Many times I clicked to start something then waitied for it to happen, wondering why nothing happens, only to remember oh ya now I have to click through the dialog. All that being said I did play it, I did finish it, and I did enjoy it a modest amount.
If you like the gwent you'll like it. I'm not a gwent player. But GOG refund policy is awsome so its all good.
Games works OK its just no fun. In Tutorial I'm trying to earn 150 selling stuff but its just painfully slow.
Very fun Diablo style game. But there are some dumb mechanics where if you die in a zone you have to log out log back in, fab another key with expensive mats, and re-fight your way all the way back to your death spot and loose a ton of experiance points. Most zones don't do this, but the ones that do are just stupid.
