Nothing in this game wants to work. You have to make it work with hair pulling rage inducing effort. The learning curve is extreme. The level of complexity is severe. For example there are 3 different sizes of water pipe. 3 different sizes of sewer pipe. 2 different voltage networks each with 3 different wire sizes. There are 3 different train signals, 2 of which are incomprehensible. Just placing things on the map is difficult because everythiong has an invisible exclusion zone extending beyond the visible footprint of the object. I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
I had played this on release and liked it very much. I just now re-purchased it and re-played with all the expansions and loved it even more. You can go so many ways with your character. You can make it diffcult, or easy. It's not bug free, but the bugs tend to be minor. If you feel the need or desire to cheat, it includes in game console without needing a mod or a trainer.
If you liked Planet Crafter, and I did, you will like Humble, and I did. It's basically the same game on a different world but with some twists. I never finished Planet Crafter becasue the end game was a grind. Humble gives you some early out options if you want one, and I did,
