If you like metroidvanias/HollowKnight you'll like this. If you're not sure what that means, do you like platfoming/exploration/difficult boss fights? If you said yes to all of the above, this is the game for you. If not, maybe try something else. You will need to do all three of those things to be sucessful.
Graveyard Keeper is similar to Stardew in many ways, mostly related to them both being farming sims. I don't think listing those similarities would be very helpful. So, I'm going to list the differences instead. More grind - This game has a tech tree and wants you to focus on progressing through it. I can see this being stressful to some. But, factory sim players may feal more at home. Less focus on relationships - There is no dating nor friendship events in this game. Dark comedic tone - This part will likely be hit or miss for a lot of people. Suffice to say one of the more prominent characters is a talking skull who loves beer. Overall, if you're the kind of person who has played and enjoyed Stardew Valley & Factorio, give this game a shot. It's good. However, if you bounced off those games you probably won't like this either.
Best metroidvania I've ever played. If you have any interrest in action platformers, you should give it a try.
