I enjoy this game and come back to it repeatedly mainly because it is such an alien environment, even for a fantasy based one. BUT...I have installed it on two different computers (Zotac MEK1 and a Lenovo laptop with Nvidia graphics card, both with excellent memory and dedicated gaming setups, and the result is always the same: at some point, usually several dozen turns into the game, but sometimes even in the first dozen, the game just crashes. Have tried several different workarounds, increasing game memory, playing on reduced game and graphic settings, but it persists. Just for reference, both machines run CIV6, Skyrim, War Tales, etc. without any difficulty. Frankly, the game also seems unfinished because of this crashing,m but also because textual interactions sometimes make no sense. Ex. X pops up in the diplomacy window and says something like "I must speak honestly with you." and that is all. Your only choice of reply is "Ok". Or something like that,; paraphrasing here from memory.

Thank you to GOG for resurrecting this game. It brings back memories and for me, an old fart who started playing D&D before there were rule books, it has so much of the original feeling we had when playing. These expansions, and now Icewind Dale too, really make it a great game. Sure, walking is slow and the graphics are of course nothing like you see today, but still a solid game with an incredible amount of detail and story.

Despite being at least 12 years old, this was the pinnacle of the Neverwinter Nights game. Updated and reformated now so it plays well on modern machines, it is even better than the original which had a few bugs. The modules included in the Complete version are excellent and a challenging at any level. Graphics are superb, still! I wish they had continued on in this vein but online open world obviously became too lucrative to pass up on.
