If you can get past some of the dated aspects of the game, you'll find a great experience awaiting you. Great writing, intriguing characters, and a multitude of approaches to how you handle events and interactions.
Look, the whole world knows how rough this was at launch. However, I have to commend the CDPR team for sticking with it and polishing it up - they even threw some free content in over time. Whatever their past sins, I highly recommend giving it an open-minded go of it in its current state. You may be surprised!
Fun, casual gameplay with a buddy. Had some good laughs over botched maneuvers! Not much replay value, however. I'd advise waiting until it's on sale.
Just like Rayman 2, avoid or be ready for a refund. Won't launch even after a multitude of suggested fixes were applied. Highly disappointing, huge waste of time.
Doesn't work and has never worked. I've spent hours trying to fixes. Chased dozens of forums, tried a multitude of suggestions, rolled back drivers, downloaded patches, nGlide graphics packages, compatibility files, etc. Everything short of f*cking smudging for spirits. Download at your own risk, you may pay $6 just to play IRL Software Tech Troubleshooting Simulator™ instead.
Easily one of the best games ever made, and still goes toe-to-toe with the modern greats. Buy it on sale, buy it full price, buy it five times - whatever. What I wouldn't give for a faithful reboot...
