I was pulled to the game by it's superficial similarities to (VA11-HALL-A). This game is steeped in the same cyberpunk aethestic, which it pulls off really well. The real meat of the game comes in it's underlying philosophies, which I won't spoil - because there are certain moments that *cue Carl Sagan exploding mind gif* . The gameplay keeps things fresh as well. It's a short game -and I certainly wish it had more but - I think it's explored it's themes well enough and kept things concise. Get it on sale, beat it in a sitting - and stare at the ceiling, wondering about your place in all of this.
Don't buy it for just DayZ. It's a wonderful game by itself. But, key word MILITARY SIMULATOR. IT'S NOT CALL OF DUTY. IT IS HARDCORE. THE CONTROLS ARE CLUNKY! But it is a wonderful game.
