S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 started off rough around the edges but is being continuously improved at record pace by GSC Game Studios. I've never known a development team release patch after patch so quickly. I would thoroughly recommend this game, the atmosphere is intense, weapons all feel unique with brilliant animations and with the A-Life system that makes the zone an endless adventure, being improved also, I don't see why this game can't be game of the year. If you have an xbox or have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, I would recommend trying S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 out at the very least, it's essentially the expected quality of an AAA game, made by an AA team.
Downloaded this simply because I was having problems with the original CD version getting to work that we got years ago. Creatures 3 works and works great, typical GOG at its best. However there are some errors with both the Genetics Kit and Docking Station. I'm not really bothered so much about DS as i've never played it, but still... would've liked to. The errors that I get for the Genetics Kit is when exporting an egg made from a genome, to the game. I get the message: "Error reading registry key -- ensure Creatures is installed on this system". I've been round forums (including creaturecaves and creaturetopia) and there's a solution for if you're using Creatures 2 which is to use a test genome and a program called BobCob and overwrite the genome with yours and then export it, but this seems solely C2 and not C3 :(. Moving onto Docking Station. When I try to run it it asks that I update. If I press `yes` then it comes up with this error: "Installation stopped Trouble bzip2 reading from C:Program FilesGOG.comCreatures ExodusDocking Stationfile_list_splash.txt.partial You can resume the installation from where it left off by running Docking Station from the Start menu. Alternatively, you can uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel." I've tried both solutions, both fail. If I select `no` on this update however I can get into the process of creating a world only to be stopped when it asks me to be online again and says I must login.
