This game had a rocky start, but now in 2.0, it has really shaped up to become one of the best games around in my opinion. To hit a couple of key points: 1) Some are still complaining about bugs, and while I've seen a couple in 2.0, none were significant. Just like little pathing issues and such. The stability of the game is overall pretty good now, framerates are pretty consistent and crashes very rare to nonexistent. You will need modern hardware to play this game though. 2) The game aims to tell you a story about people trying to hold onto their humanity while under attack by corporations and a collapsing society. Therefore, you don't get to make your own story, but do get to operate as a character within it. This allowed them to make characters and plots that are so much better than any other major RPG out there. Seems like some are upset though that you don't get to go be anyone you want to be - you in the end have to be badass mercenary V, who's got a big problem. If you want to go do whatever, pick up Starfield and experience the extremely mid storytelling there, then come back to Cyberpunk and see how much better it is. It's ludicrous. 3) Special recommendation - did my first run as a gunner, now doing one as a swordsman. Swords are so badass. Turn that difficulty up to hard and go hand-to-hand, and it's super difficult and epic. You end up with these wild fights straight out of the Last Samurai. Guns are boring.
