Після пачки оновлень та покращень від розробника, в гру можна грати комфортно зараз. Звісно, що деякі баги та помилки залишились, та й іноді оптимізація на ПК могла бути кращою. Але це вже рідкість. Розробники дали трошки нового контенту, виправили деякі квести, помилки. Якщо гра вийшла б, принаймні у такому стані, у 2020 році, середня оцінка була б вищою. Якщо вам колись не сподобалась ця гра із-за багів та вилетів на кожному кроці, то зараз вже можна однозначно спробувати пограти ще раз. В мене так і вийшло: під час виходу пограв менше 20-30 годин, то зараз вже за 100 годин подорожей цим кіберпанковим світом. Що сподобалось: мені подобається атмосфера кіберпанку, нічного міста. Тут дійсно багато що можна робити, і побічних квестів тут багато. Що можна покращити: музику на радіо. Вона наче і в стилі гри, але зовсім не чіпляє. Побічні квести час від часу повторюються: вбий того, завантаж віруси там, вкрасти те, розвідати щось. Іноді трапляється щось незвичне, але то рідкість. Після певного рівня прокачки гра стає досить легкою у проходженні, немає збалансованої механіки на противагу. Гра намагається дати лише більш жирних супротивніків, або збільшити їх кількість. Я проходжу гру з однією битою, кулаками і вже рідко користуюсь хакінгом перед початком бою. Взагалі, система прокачки якась дуже складна і перенасичена, як на мене. До рівня 20-30 просто не міг розібратись, у що мені вкидати очки досвіду. Керування автомобілями точно треба покращити — це якийсь жах. Багато чого ще можна перелічити. Проте головне треба відмітити — розробники виправляють помилки і покращують гру. А це варто того, щоб запустити її ще раз і пограти.
There is not a lot of action nor dramatically developing story. Ending is just... meh. I've been expected some... I don't know... I've expected answers, good ending. At some point I thought it is all just a protagonist's dream but it is not. The graphics, sound and the forest atmosphere are good. As a HAM I enjoyed the plot based on using the transievers. There is lots of walking for sure. Sadly, no matter what you choose in dialogue options the ending will be still the same. So, should you buy it? Yes, if you want calm and quiet gameplay for 3-4 hours. No, if you like well developed story and looking for some action.
The title says it all. You can not change the keyboard controls. So you have to deal with the terrible controls all the time.
Why it is awesome? It's simple: quality gameplay, interesting storyline, good graphics and soundtrack. Wow! They even really invited famous movie actors. Even on my old PC the game was played very well. It is totally worth its money. Gameplay wasn't easy for me: RTS is not my favorite genre, but I spent almost two days in a row to compete singleplayer. I will recommend this game to everyone, who likes play RTS or just good games.
I love this game. The animation, the sound, the music, the gameplay and the scenario. You've literally from the first minutes are into the main character Jade. She is beautiful but vulnerable. Other character are pretty unique too. Jokes about ham (do not confuse with HAM), Carlson&Peters and many other local jokes. I really do love the game. First time I've played this game in 2004. Since then this was my second time to play in 2022. However, why I have not rated it 5 of 5? Initialy I was going to rate as 3/5, but eventually decided to go with 4. The game is not really stable: I had 2-3 crashes before saving. Visual glitches and artefacts: no matter what settings I've changed I still had visual artefacts on the screen. The other major flaw is the camera. Oh, I can not stand fixed 3p-cinematic camera. When you need to fast rotate and see what's over there, sometimes due to some reasons the camera allows me only to move up and down, and vise versa. The controls in the other pain. Ok, ok, I get it: the game was built for the consoles. But does it mean we (as PC players) should be suffering too? And the final boss battle. Who's that brilliant idea to reverse the controls during the final battle when you literally have no chance for mistake? (No spoilers though). The aspect ratio. It does not fixed for the wide screens. The built in settings up is somewhat buggy and doesn't allow me to change the resolution nor the refresh rate. As a result I had to play with stretched 4:3 to 16:9 all the time. And also I had to lock the refreshrate on 60Hz in order to avoid the audio-video mismatch. The other thing I've only understood after playing this game 18 years later. It is not much replayable. You can see and do almost anything during the first gameplay. No rush, no skip. Everything would be smooth and silk. But not much random events, with exception of racing events. So, let's sum this up. I recommend the game... only if you have patience to deal with issues above.
The game has high replayable potential: you can literally restart the mission and the AI bots will be on the new spot every time. Multiplayer is not much populated nowadays, but you still can find 5-10 players playing the game on the weekends. Fun to play alone, and fun to play with friends (FFA, TMD) if you have ones. The visuals might look outdated but the gameplay is still like new. I recommend you to buy and play the game. My solid 5 out of 5.
