Deep story, perfect performance of the complete cast, decisions that make you care about polygons.... Only nitpick is the sword/melee combat, it just gets the job done but not the cyber ninja simulator I was hoping for.
I bought this game for my girlfriend who isn't so much into videogames. It was quite a challenge for her but has lots of charming characters, a nice flow in the movement (a must for platformers in my opinion) and an appealing cartoon look. After she finished it, I tried it myself because the charming main character kept teasing me. As someone with much more experience in this genre I have to say it's easy to pick up and master, no huge problems on the way to the end and I don't remember dying once. But even for an experienced gamer this is kind of a feel good game, it throws no hard challenges at you but keeps you involved with the controls, nice art design and gameplay ideas. Sometimes it doesn't have to be the super hard platformer that makes you bite into your gamepad - Super Lucky's Tale is more like a feel-good holiday trip that lets you forget your daily problems for some hours. Highly recommend it to platform newcomers (also children) and veterans alike!
Finally Mrs. Croft at GOG! One of the best action adventures of all time and here you get 1-3 in a package! 10 Bucks seems more than fair to me, played this games forever when they came out. If you've never played a Tomb Raider game, get these to know why this franchise became so popular and to shorten the waiting time till the reboot gets released :)
Played it after it got a budget title and was fairly impressed. The reviews teared it apart, but it's a really good game with some small design flaws, but nothing that kicks off the gameplay. The AI reacts pretty well, graphic is good for it's time, controls are fine and the single-player needs about 10-12hours for a playthrough. If you liked the first unreal, you have to play this! If you like good and fast shooters, it's worth the ten bucks...
