First off, this game was SUPER FUN! I really enjoyed searching for secret locations and the general retro vibe that Foregone produces. The pixel style is modern, yet true to form for those of us who grew up in the 8 and 16-bit era. The artwork and animations are fluid and very pleasing to the eyes. The challenge level felt fair and the weapons/powers upgrade system was balanced imo. The variety of weapons (my personal favorite was the GUN-CHUCKS & shotgun combo) allows the player top approach the game in their own style in a small but meaningful way. I didn't initially play the game for the story, however, it was engaging and I especially liked the ending. In short, I bought this game on a whim and ended up really enjoying the entire experience.
