Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

It's OK..

It's playable and somewhat enjoyable to play, it starts out nice, but half way through feels kinda like you are just running towards the end goal... Not much of a story, and i feel the fantasy dialogue kinda removes any feeling i may have had at the end of the story, i just thought "oh well" and thats it, as i just wasn't invested into the brothers at all. I enjoyed the unique-ness of the controls (i used a controller) and the puzzles based on that, the graphics and sounds are nice, but for all it's worth the brothers might aswell have been mute and just nodded their heads. Atleast it's short, and that in itself is a good thing.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

GoG - I Love you people!

Thanks for the free upgrade! The game is worth a re-purchase if it were necessary, now i'll just buy it for a friend as a thanks. :) As to everyone else, it's a great game (as said many times over), so give it a go, i doubt you'll be disappointed!

Democracy 3

Expensive for what it is.

It's a short blast at something different. It is fun while it lasts, but after a few goes your pretty much done with it, not as hard as you would think. I would recommend only in a 60%+ Sale at the current £17.39.

Kingdom

I like it!

I like it. The other reviews about the "bad AI" worried me, but i tried it out anyway. It's a simple idea, your men do what they are told, day or night and what you buy (Be it Hammers, Bows or a Scythe), they equip themselves with, so produce only what you need. It's a simple game, where timing is everything, especially late game. As for replay value, i don't find there is much too it once you've completed it. It does remind me of "King Arthur's World" on the Snes; from which, i would actually like some castles to storm, and a larger variety of men through different varied levels, where you could perhaps not only fight against evil little munchkins, but other competing Kingdoms. And the Music is great, i so bought the OST. :)

Reprisal Universe

So simple it hurts.

Honestly if you want a really really basic, classic, game that adheres to a really old formula, this is for you. The only Populous game i played was "Populous: The Beginning", and i was hoping this would scratch that itch, the retro looks i don't mind, i like how it's done, but it's just so.. basic! it's about as advanced as pong.. It's basically a really fast spamfest, of flatten, build, repeat. I played for a few hours and conquered a fair few worlds before i knew it wasn't going to change besides a few extra powers. It's pretty in it's own way, but that's really all it has going for it for me, though like i said, if you loved the classic populous, you'll probably like it.
