Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

No game hit me this hard in 20 years

I have never played a JRPG or Souls like game, so this is not my genre. However the trailer and especially its music really got me on the hook, then read the great reviews, okok I'll give it a try. I do not regret it. I haven’t felt this emotionally affected by a game in two decades. Pros: - Beautiful. - Mind blowing Story with many twists. - Real 3d characters - Amazing voice acting - Interesting fight and level up system. - Challenging fights Cons: Well, I cant really put here much. - If I had to add something I would say, that the fights sometimes are very difficult. You need to learn the fighting mechanics of certain enemies so you could dodge or parry their attacks. I like such challenges, but I could imagine that for some people it could be frustrating. However you can change the difficulty to story mode any time during the game. I am going to buy it on steam too, to support the developers. We would need more games like this.

Z: The Game

Don't listen to the cry babies

So I tried both the GOG version and the DOS version of the game, because all the cry babies complained about (1) the cluncky controls of the game that (2) the pathfinding is terrible, (3) the scrolling is slow etc etc. Check this out, all of the issues exist in the original game to. The only thing I prefer in the original is the menu... that's it. In the new version you can choose the difficulty and due to the higher resolution setup you can see through the map, which makes the unit control easier(for me at least). Is it cluncky? Yes, because it is an old game. Great adaptation.

Shadow Warrior 2

Great mixture of old and new genres

I love how well they mixed the old school hack and slash and fps genres with the modern open-world rpgs. The game is like the rpgs of the late 90s. You have a town where you can always come back to trade and develop your weapons gems etc. You receive a semi open-world map. You cannot literally walk through of it like in Witcher 3 for example, but you have the fast travel points so you can jump from one quarter to the other. The story is pretty simple, but you do not play this game for complex, deep story-line but for the joy of slaying demons and monsters with a huge a variety of weapons. And last but not lease Lo Wang is a prick, but a very funny one XD Positives: - Beautiful - Many difficulties that you can change even during the game. - Tons of different weapons that you can customize by your needs using gems - Very funny(C'mon the guy's name is Wang :D:D:D) - Slaughtering Demons and Monster while listening metal? XD Negatives: - Sometimes it wants to bee to funny and jokes are too simple - There could be a higher variety of demons I definitely recommend. Great Game!!!
