Hollow Knight: Silksong

Far to petty

Many people will discuss how difficult this game is. It is not difficult. It is petty. Game design decisions were made that make this game decidedly less fun to play. if you die (twice) you lose your limited resource. if you lose your reource you cannot unlock the save spot. without the save spot you have huge setbacks on death and you lose your resource.

So much potential

So much disappointment. The puzzles are good but the controls are far to bad and clunky for the fast position work they want you to do in the gimmicky combat. You have the feeling that you fighting the controls and not the enemies.

Finished it twice already

Great game in my view. Really something you wish every sequel would accomplish. Bigger and better. I really love this game. the only downside is that it is a bit short. But I find that "I didn't get enough of the game" is really a negative. Worth every penny.

Owlboy

Major game design flaw

This is all in all a fun game and I like the first 2 to 3 hours I played. But there is one flaw to this game which bothers me both as a game developer and as a player. Your line of fire doesn't correspond with your position. You are an owlboy and attacking with a guy you are carrying so your line of fire is always beneath you. If a monster attacks you, you need to move up to hit it until you reach the sealing and then once it is on the same level you are lost. You can maneuver under the monster und move up into the monster to fire up. My point is that enemies which attack you are not easy to deal with because of bad game design. If you don't mind playing a game with a giant blind spot in front of the character than it would be fun.
