Doom is an amazing and classic videogame that's still great after 30 years. All weapons are fun to use, the enemies are iconic and level design is great. This version comes with controller support, split-screen co-op and looks great thanks to modern resolutions. Doom remains a game every self-respecting gamer should own. This version comes with Doom II and a bunch of other expansions. Buy it now and murder demons for the rest of eternity!
Holy pizza in a bowling alley! The Silent Hill 2 Remake is even better than the original! Yeah, I know. That's blasphemy. How dare I even think such a thing... The original Silent Hill 2 is a timeless classic and one of the best games ever made. I know. What I don't know is if I will ever feel the need to replay it again after experiencing the Bloober team remake. Sure, the original's voice actors gave unique performances that are worth experiencing again, but I honestly think the new voice cast did an amazing job in their own right. What the Silent Hill 2 remake definitely does better is the combat. Killing the horrors of Silent Hill has never been more fun, but SHR does it without making James feel like an unstoppable killing machine. He is still vulnerable and obviously not some kind of seasoned combat veteran. I also loved the new lore that comes in the form of notes, puzzles and whole new locations. Silent Hill has never felt more like a real town that has gone to absolute hell. Offcourse it doesn't hurt that the Unreal Engine 5 makes it all look better and more horrifying than ever. Silent Hill 2 is without a doubt my game of the year 2024!
I never played Freedom Force before 2025 so nostalgia is not a factor for me, but this game is hilarious and charming. I like to pretend it's secretly a The Boys videogame and that fits surprisingly well seeing how our heroes can throw cars and demolish buildings. The fact that they're still presented as good guys is just because this game is a Vought product.
The original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games became cult classics due to their unique depressing atmosphere and a world that truely felt alive. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is following in it's predecessors footsteps. The depressing atmosphere is felt everywhere in it's huge open world. The game does still have bugs, but the developers have released multiple big patches. If GSC continues to improve on the base game this will be a game I will replay for many years to come!
Eating radioactive bread and saucages is tight.
A game that never got the attention it deserved. It takes a while to get into, but once you get the hang of things it's great fun. +The armor sets look great +Combat is fast and feels good +Many different platstyles that are all fun in their own way
