There are games where authors are your friends and then there are games where the game is your enemy. This is the latter case. I know this game is of the genre where you learn the ropes by constant dying but this one is taking it too far. If you enjoy dying thousands of deaths in order to get nowhere and feel dumb as a brick for paying for it, then this is a game for you.
I've been an avid gamer since 1985 and I have to say The Cave is hands down one the best games ever. Highly enjoyable, gorgeous graphics, wonderful puzzles and a narrative that makes the whole message shine only when you replay the game because in the new game there are echoes of your previous gameplay and consequences of your moral choices are shown. Very addictive and not too hard, it's a joyride from start to many ends. Highly recommended.
