... and this game still blows my mind. I got hooked on the thief series when I played a demo of Thief 2, and I'm still a proud owner of a german Thief Gold CD-release. Bought the GOG-version anyway, so now I can get all nostalgic and listen to the awesome german version, or pick the original English one and enjoy Stephen Russell as the vioce of Garrett (and several other characters from the game). Don't miss this opportunity to buy this gem of a game! And get Thief 2, too!
This game defines the word 'story-telling' in video games. The focus is on the story, dialog and characters, and not that much on fighting, but it's great in any way. And it's finally here on GOG.com. If you like an unconventional setting and interesting characters, go check it out!
