I've put 500+ hours into this game, so safe to say I'm glad I bought it. I'm relatively new to CRPGs and never got into them while I was playing, and I recommend this to someone new to the genre. Understand that there is a learning curve, and recommended feats can only get you so far. By far the best features of this game are its NPCs. They're writing and VA'ing are both top notch, making for a potent combination. You may NEED mods. My first playthrough I got soft locked out of a Mythic path. But the game's been through a lot of work over the years post release, and that soft lock was a long time ago. If you enjoy a story with a lot of variations in how you can enjoy it as far as roleplaying is concerned, with fascinating and well acted characters, you're in for a great time, just be aware that you can change the general or specific parts of difficulty at any time, and you probably should because the game can kick you nine times to Saturday. Overall, highly recommend it.
