My first review on GOG! I know 'who cares just tell me about the game'. Okay so here's Wet Nightmares as is at the time of this review. And no spoilers on top. First this is a visual novel! For those who are virgins to VNs, they are video game like but more like books with lots of pictures but still a good amount of reading. It's cheap and fairly easy to produce these with free engines like Ren'py. Pretty sure this was made with that engine too. Thinking of making something with that too. So don't expect a Call Of Duty, Dark Souls or Fortnite here. This is for those who go, "I want to play a video game but...I feel Sans levels of lazy and just want to tap one button." Game's meant to be cozy. Not your speed? move on. But it's also a horror game with erotica on top. It is adults only with servicing level sex scenes. Even threw in deaths of...sorry no spoilers. But it does have a disturbing theme to it. Alone in the woods like Ash as a writer and rather manic. Your protag has issues. And the plot is he meets this...basically The Ring Girl in her late teens. But she is weirdly...yeah. Don't know what she is? Ghost Succubus? Overall, the visual arts are decent anime style cartooning(hopefully hand drawn) and writing wise give it a B+(hoping not AI). Was dragging at the beginning for me. Someone had a writer's block clearly. Running out of characters but this game barely has a few hours of story and only on erotic scene. Hardly complete more like demo. Like releasing movies before the movies are finished. Crazy right? Well if 8-10 whatever currency is too steep for a 'game' this WIP? Yeah I suggest wait for more content to finish production. There's not too much here of this review's posting. But I gave it a 5 because did like what's done so far. Gets BDSM but switches sub and dom roles. It's mostly indirect femdom. Don't know what I mean there? Probably too young to buy this game. lol That's my review of Wet Dr..Nightmares.
