Played this game for countless hours as a kid back on my parent's windows 95/98 Gateway. This special PC version of the game was near impossible to play on modern operating systems. Special thanks to GOG for making this work on modern hardware so I can relive this classic! This game has such an amazing unique gameplay and level design. Love being able to switch between Maui and the Ninja. You can tell a lot of care went into enabling the player to seamlessly switch back and forth between each play style and above all making it fun and satisfying. The last level Realm of the Dead puts the players adaptive skills to the test with the amazing climb up the giant tower. The difficulty will kick your teeth in! However, it feels completely fair at the same time. All art/animations were done by Disney animators so the game has wonderful aesthetic helping the game age extremely well. Side note on the music: This is one of my favorite video game soundtracks of ALL TIME. This is one of the first video game soundtracks that THE Michael Giochino did. If you're not familiar, this is the very same guy that did the soundtracks of many of the Medal of Honor games. One last thing, this might only be an issue for me. If I launch the game via the desktop shortcut the frame rate gets choppy. To fix this, I simply have to launch this game via GOG Galaxy.
