Loved Close Combat Invasion Normandy so I was looking forward to playing this upgrade. However while most of the core elements are there the enemy AI is not very good even at the elite setting. On some of the beach levels the allies will just sit there while the tanks go back and forth, they dont seem to know how to advance. There is a setting you can choose which activates a countdown timer to end the battle once all victory locations are taken...the AI does not react and I have seen thier troops by pass an easy victory location grab which would stop the timer...it does not make sense. The game is supposed to be an upgrade but I still prefer invasion normandy, the AI was better in that game even though its a much older game. Avoid this one unless you just want a bit of nostalgia.
