Awesome Title :) It just needs a widescreen fix, in the future, and is cool :)) Also do not forget to modify the two executables in 'Game' folder, compat. mode XP SP2, and reduce color... and the resolution box.. maybe will be good :) An amazing classic !! About 11+h played Short but pretty fun. Mission based, some annoying ones :)) cool weapons, upgrades... use the shield thingy just as your HP goes rly low :)) No co-op in this version :( C'mon gog !!! bring us more multiplayer features... If the game's display annoys you, turn off the post process effects... and other video settings. Sadly, I will not finish the game on my Elite playtrough, because of many other games I want to play :)) So... ya, if you think you'll like this kind of game, if you didnt got it on the giveaway, get in on a rly rly good sale... Is, pretty fun.
Its... OK... ish... I started playing on professional, bronze all 1st... but is not worth it. Just play on Normal !! About 18h for me :) There are some cheeky shortcuts on some of the race tracks, use R quick :)) ,drivetrain upgrade :) and so on... The collision physics are sometimes rly stupid... most of the times :( Drive safe, use breaking, avoid crazy AI :)) This title would had been rly fun with friends :) to wreck eachother :)) and destroy the AI :)) But the multiplayer network I dont think is working (stated on gog shop page single only) and the multiplayer hotseat seems very lame :( So... get it on a rly rly low discount, if you want, or get it on a future giveaway... if will be :)) Fun but annoying :))
Played the campaigns about 20+h. There are 4 campaigns each having 4 missions and after, 4 aditional missions appear :)) Some hit and miss. I rly liked it, but I wanted moooore :)) More missions, more factions... more maps... Dev. bring a expansion patch !!! :))) :(( :))) It is pretty dated, more simplistic compared to Armada 2, but is rly enjoyable. The story was... ok, but I rly don't like the time travel nonsense :)) Did not try the multiplayer yet... hopefully works... LAN only :( we'll see If you have problems... game displayed in a cut box :)) use the amazing dxcfg.exe in your installed folder and check disable the aspect ratio correction (game will fully display on screen ) or use it from galaxy... is in additional executables :) /and other tweaking options :) I purchased this title for Christmas for 7.49 EUR at a dissapointing discount :)) But at least this, GOG deserves from me :) worth it. But having a more limited budget :)) I expect the next title to be like 90% discount :)) for me :)) no time limit :)) Is pretty nice, get it if you want, on a good discount :) And GOG pls. bring moore abandonware back :) and consider releasing official hardcopy, booklet in case with the game installer on a storage medium CD/DVD, sd card..SSD :)) whatever, even on demand... would love to display some of them :))
I had this title on Steam wishlist for a long, long time :)) And now with this giveaway, here on GOG, I got to enjoy it and have a great time playing it :) It was kinda short... for me cca. 15h. But you will unlock new modes, wich I guess, will add to the story :) I will definitely play again on different modes to get the endings :) I really enjoyed the simple story. Played it on keyboard and it was fine, normal difficulty :) will not play hardcore... absurd mode :)) I wish we had wallpapers... not the ingame unlockable gallery tho' :( If you would like to play a pretty nice metroid..anime...tittiezz (some bosse's are... cultured) title :)))) consider purchasing it here... but on a sale :))
I really liked it, is enjoyable... played it on hard (elf mage) and was really fun... except the fffff... the APEX mission... whatever you do, DO NOT quicksave during mission or after... just exit the area after completion of the objective. Then save in the new area. 2h 0_0 :(( 2h T_T I did rage at the last mission too :)) but it was cool to beat it :) The characters are really enjoyable. Really liked Glory's mission even if it was hard :)) disliked Eiger :)) but he's alright. The ending credits... conclusion was kinda garbage :)) It was not that satisfying... I know there are different endings... but still, I wanted... I guess to teach the dragons a lesson... Wished you could had joined the one, that in my playtrough... I freed :) Get this title or the trilogy on a sale.... or get it for free :)) it there will be as giveaway ...again in the future :)
I don't particularly like turn based games... but this one was unexpected. I really liked it because of a more actiony turn base, to say so. I really liked the story, the outfits and all the customization you can make. An addicting game :)) The only thing that bothered me was that the weapon models did not match up ingame :( .... and it was short.. way too short :(( I fnished the game (on normal) in 17h 41m and still had 21 karma unspend 0_0 :)) Played as a white haired elf that, she was pure mage... gunslinger mage ? :)) I found at the end of the game that you can heal outside of combat :)) and use different weapon modes... and if you get a siderun, take it... I missed one. Even if its linear, not mutch free roam the streets :)) it was fun... probably I will replay it at a higher difficulty :) I got the Shadowrun Trilogy on a giveaway so I would like to thank GOG and Harebrained Schemes / Paradox Interactive for doing this for us all :) and if you find this title or the trilogy on sale or giveaway again... and even full price if you want to support the devs... get it :) It was, for me, an addictive, fun, enjoyable, annoying at times :)) game. Time to play the other two... probably :))
