The game takes what's the best in Hollow Knight and improves upon it. Environments, storytelling, enemies, bosses, combat, playstyle customization, exploration - all polished to perfection. The difficulty is spot on for anyone who enjoys a good challenge, and, though punishing at times, the game never leaves you with an impression that it's unfair. 10/10 - best action game I've ever played and, possibly, the best game I've experienced overall.
