This is a classic worth playing, especially if you enjoy Diablo 2 or 3. Diablo one has some great lore. Granted this was released in 96 the game play won't be as smooth as new games of course but I think the monsters and boss fights will still give you nightmares. If you are a lore hound you're in for a treat!
