I've played this game for the first time today, since lunch to dinner, without stop... and really enjoyed it! It does 3 things I need to enjoy a strategy game: (1) It has very deep mechanics to master on one hand (which translates in a lot of fun in the long run), (2) while being very easy to learn and navigate on the other (which translates in no frustration to start playing). (3) It is, also, stunning looking and immersive! Usually, strategy games fail on one of this three basic pillars. This one don't, and gave me the vibes of entertainment that once Age of Empires did in the beginning of the Century. I really recommend you to try it! :)

I will keep it short, so it's easy to read. This game is amazing, and it's the pinnacle of Worms experience! Why? - The game plays exactly as Armageddon (flawless mechanics and physics) - The sounds pack a LOT of punch. The best sounds in any Worms. It's a joy to hear explosions in this game. - The visuals speak for themselves. Nothing comes close in Worms series. They are pure art! - Every type of game from previous Worms are present here, providing endless possibilites for matches and fun. - Vehicles are a great addition. They are powerful, but fair. You need to play them right. - Bases and interiors, alone, make this game more interesting, because they offer a lot of strategic value, and, such as vehicles, are powerful but fair. When combined, the two make a much more profound Worms experience. So, all in all, this is the evolution of Worms. They picked everything they did right, added some nice features, more variety, and made the very best graphics and sound effects ever. Ah... and the game plays very smooth on any entry level computer. :)

Unlike Doom, or Quake, this game aged well, which is curious, because it's the first of them all. The perfection of this game resides on its simplicity, since no one buys an early 90's FPS looking for intricate mechanics or photorealistic graphics, but for pure fun. And this game is pure fun. More than 100 levels to explore and master. Secrets to discover. Bad guys to shoot and records to beat! Simple and fun. A Masterpiece for what it is - The Father of FPS!
