I've been playing it for over 50 hours, I haven't finished it. I really play it after The Witcher 2 and the differences are overwhelming...it's the perfect example of how to improve a videogame to extraordinary levels. I wish with all my heart that CD Projekt would make The Witcher 4 like The Witcher 3. In this day and age I know we are going to encounter things in modern societies that we wouldn't see in The Witcher 3, but I hope the company has learned from the release of Cyberpunk and gives us a good product launch but most importantly the appeal of the story, the characters...and the love for the side quests that are in The Witcher 3!!!! Please CD Projekt, make The Witcher 4 without abandoning the great scheme you did in 3. Special mention to the expansions, it's the kind of additional content that suits the game. No cosmetic dlcs or paid side quests. Please, please, please don't. And try not to put in forced stuff in the name of nothing. Stick to your own style. My sincere congratulations on The Witcher 3. It will never be forgotten.
It's a fantastic game of The Witcher. I hope CD Projeckt continues on this path and doesn't go down the path of other great developers who ended up being what they swore they wouldn't be. I'm loving The Witcher saga, and this game develops its world from the cards. You can slowly level up and upgrade your pack of cards if you don't want to spend money. Any drawbacks? Well, I'm level 25 and I do feel that once you pass a certain level you are paired with overly professional players and if you feel like playing a low intensity game sometimes you find yourself with tactics that, although they are very good, is not the type of game I'm looking for, more calm and normal where you also lose and win. Still, my rating is 9,5 out of 10. Really, depending on the type of player you are, you'll like it too. If you like a more professional character, it's for you. If you like to just have a normal time, well, it's for you too. Although you might find certain opponents a bit difficult after a certain level. You'll only complain about it when there are days when they just match you up with professional players. Best regards!
Why? Because I've been playing for 30 hours and you can appreciate the talent, commitment, dedication, love and care that the company put when making The Witcher 3. I know the mistakes of Cyberpunk, I don't have it, but I hope the company has learned which is the way forward. Please don't make The Witcher 4 a tool for political and social ideas. Just mirror the world of The Witcher with the narrative scheme and open world of The Witcher 3, improve the combat system a bit and nothing else. I sincerely hope that The Witcher 4 will be as successful as the third installment and beyond. Best wishes and good luck to CD ProjeKt Red.
