The Witcher has received so many accolades that I just do not understand. The gameplay is simplistic and repetitive - it's basically a really simple timing game without the complexity of four buttons like rock band. The voice acting was awful, as if delivered by a line of fence posts. Not that I blame the actors, the dialogue itself certainly didn't give them much to work with. And the whole package was juvenile in it's execution. Literally collecting cards of women you sleep with like they're baseball cards. I'm not above a little juvenile fun, but this didn't even seem self-aware. While the 'Enhanced Edition' has at least rectified the buggy nature of the original game (a state that most games don't reserve an 'Enhanced' edition for), it only allows the rest of the games flaws to come to the surface.
