I have the Steam Version of this game, And as many others have told you when it comes to making RPG games, Obsidian Games are Experts on this kind of Genre. It is a shame that Obsidian agreed to make this game with a under a year contract, and they had to use the awful Gamebryo engine that Fallout 3 used. Yet, this is a major improvement over Fallout 3. No longer You're locked with two factions, the Weapon handling feels more tight, you're more restricted when making builds, instead maxing everything to 100. Deathclaws actually are dangerous in this game.

You know that really impressed me with this game, even though I missed it and never played it back in the age this game was released, this game so far I have played uses a map campaign system, and doesn't have any cutscenes or dialogue. This game constantly keeps you on the edge, granting you full player control and eliminates any dull moment. The game's age barely took it's toll, that means you have to ignore it's primitive visuals, clunky keyboard layout and the hilarious, cliché, cheesy screaming sound effects in the first map. It's still a solid buy even if you subtract the nostalgia factor.

This game Is not for everyone. Recommended for fans of browser management-rpg games like Bite-fight and Mafia Wars. This game looks like it was designed for a browser, and I mistaken this game for a early 90's simplistic rpg. I didn't knew that it was released in 2013, but that's one of the few things that I loved about this game. The graphical interface, the obsolete and muddy textures on the HUD just brings back memories, straight from the Starcraft era. The game doesn't really has any story-lline and it seems like it doesn't even need one. There are however some mini-quests on each planet, and depends on your profession (in my case i picked bounty hunter) there are some tasks that you need to do in order to receive your reward. The premise about the game is to explore the vast galaxy, do things, loot stuff, kill bad guys, earn money, get a better ship, talk to people or aliens. Overall this game may don't offer very complex mechanics, but it definitely had some love in the making. I loved the features, I love what they tried to do with the game, they knew what this game is capable of and what its not. It runs like any browser game does with either PHP or HTML. The only downside for me it's the asking price. I would only pick it up when its on sale. Thought I bought this game from a retailer for a dollar, best dollar ever spent.
