Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat

A good classic Warhammer RTS

A fun nostalgia trip. It has an impeccable sense of atmosphere, the graphics, voice acting, and sound design really works together to bring you into the Warhammer Fantasy world. I would highly recommend reading the manual, it gives a good backstory to the main character and founding of the titular Grudgebringers. The controls are almost entirely mouse-driven, but done awkwardly. The UI is large and clunky and only the manual tells you what the buttons actually do (another reason to read the manual). There's no way to turn or move the camera with the keyboard. The game can be punishing with persistent deaths, soldiers lost do not automatically come back, they must be replaced by a limited pool at certain locations, generally after every mission. This makes it so you can fall into softlocks and have to reset progress. On the one hand, it makes you have to take the mechanics more seriously, and replaying missions isn't time-consuming, but can become tedious. Overall, a great and old RTS, even non-Warhammer fans can have fun.
