Game freezes at loading screen. Refuses to close. Spent hours and 4 computer resets trying o get it to work. Refuses to even close or even allow windows program manager to run. Had tp use the windows start menu button to even reset computer. Don't waste your money.
Doesn't even make it to the opening cinematic. Let alone the main menu. Mouse pointer on a black screen. Non functional.

Despite what it claims and downloading the 6 patches it does not work on Windows 10 64 bit. A true shame i was looking forward to it since i can't play it on my Xbox One S either. it will start. But no matter how i changed the settings or even at the lowest settings it will not work. If you buy it check it immidiately. I unfortunately will have to wait until i can afford a Xbox Series X. So years from now :(
DRM?????????!!!!!!!!!!! On GOG????!!!!!!! WTF GOG!!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!! I buy from you for no GD BS DRM. PERIOD!!!!!!I can and WILL buy from Microsoft and Steam. And get complete mod services way better than this. No DRM is literally the ONLY reason I buy from you. And until now you've delivered. If there's exceptions that are a literal roadblock that can't be overcome internationally or whatever. Fine but you plaster it in red for all to see and make it VERY clear when something isn't DRM free. Plastering DRM free all over the internet and then having exceptions with no warnings on your product IS false advertising and flat out theft. PERIOD!!! Just like there is no warning on this! The only way I knew was looking at the stinking comments!!! You almost stole my money with this. Shame on you!!! LABEL YOUR NON-DRM PRODUCTS! PERIOD!!! No I'm not buying this! Even on sale.
You can not get your CD Key to use as a passcode unlock to start the game through the GOG App. You have to sign in through your account on your webbrowser. Then click under your account name at the top. An option will be Games. Click on it. Your entire game library (My collection) will show up. Select Doom 3 the NON BFG edition. A menu will pop up. At the top there is..... System ;Windows Language:English More> Click More. It will bring up a pulldown menu. The second choice is Serial Keys, Click/select it. It will then show both your Doom 3 Serial Key and Your Ressurection of evil Serial Key. You will need both. There is two keys each with a 18 digit number and letter code. the first 16 of them go together. The last 2 where there's a space inbetween is put into the small box on the right after putting in the first 16. Same for the Ressurection of Evil expantion Key directly underneath that. These CD Keys can't be copied from the GOG website menu you will need to write them down. I would also suggest puttuing them on a text notepad file ans save it in your Domm 3 game folder in your GOG folder in your hard drive. I'm giving 1 star. NOt for the game it's great. But for GOG for not making it clear exactly how to get your CD Key and me needing to type this in the first place. And not being able to look the Keys up in your library in your GOG app. That is REDICULOUS and BS. It's taken me 6 months to figure this out!!!!! It can ONLY be done in a webrowser!! And no explanation of it anywhere! How many people refunded because they didn't know? Seriously!
Game won't even start! And not just this game. Every single Roller Coaster Tycoon game on BOTH gog and Steam. That's not a coincidence. Hey GOG and Steam....DO NOT SELL A GAME IF IT'S NOT FUNCTIONAL!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!!!! Messed up part is you and Steam had the better part of a decade to fix, de-list, or remove that it's supported by Windows and doesn't work.
A great game. But not if it won't even start. Doesn't work Windows 10 64Bit. Don't waste your money! What is GOG and Steam's problem!!!! No version of Rollercoaster Tycoon works on either. If a game doesn't function on Windows at allAnd Incoming while your at it that doesn't work either REMOVE IT FROM YOUR STORE GOG AND STEAM!!!
Doesn't work on Windows 10 64bit! Which is rediculous. On an operating system and bit that is the average and normal at the moment and desn't work. that's bs. I'd be far angrier but I bought it on sale for $1.00 so I'll wait a few days for a refund. but if I'd paid full price and had to wait the full month for a return to an account and not the GOG store wallet?.........I'd be furious. I've literally spend 4 hours trying to trouble shoot this game. A 22 year old game!!!! No GOG I am not waiting another hour to download the PCApp store. Which is probably spyware and ad ware to download K-Lite codec! It should just work. So far a rare problem I've had here but this and Incoming. Really? There's dozens of games I've bought recently on here from the early 2000's. And they work. I don't get it. PC Master Race my A$$! Agame I never got to play back in the day. Guess I'll have to go to Amazon and get it for Playstation 2 for $30. Shame. Funny thing is Deus Ex 2 works perfectly. And the exact reason I'm a console gamer and not a PC gamer! At least I know if my consoles work the game will.
Just goes to show why all of us console gamers don't buy into the "PC Master race" mentality. PC is beyond overly complicated. "you wouldn't expect an Xbox 360 game to work on a Playstation 2?" kind of mentality is less than helpful and vain and pretencious. Partially my fault for assuming it would play on Windows 10. Apaarently it doesn't past Windows 8. My bad but an honnest mistake considrting every single game iv'e purchaced here on GOG works perfectly. including games from exactly the era Incoming was originally released from. Very unfortunate considering i was looking forward to playing this game adain and especially the Forces extra content that was never on console. Which is why I have this GOG account and Steam. to play the PC games I missed that were never on cosole. or to have a sigital version dollar cheap on my PC also. Except Ureal apparently since it's now been de-listed smh. Get it together Epic! The only reason my review is one star is due to it being compatible with every windows version except the one released over a decade ago. No non PC savy gamer would still have a Windows XP machine. We gave those away a decade ago or longer. And none of us were buying Windows 8 machines everyone was buying phones and tablets a decade ago. So I don't understand why this game soecifically can't work on Windows 10. Fallout works. Even Homeworld works. Why not this? Unfortunate. I guess I'm stuck playing the Sega Dreamcast vanilla port. Good but I was Looking forward to more. It's a fun game. Shame :-( Make it Windows 10 compatible and I'll change my score to 4-5 stars. And re-buy it.
