This is a great game overall, and I still come back from time to time to play a few runs more than ten years after release; which is more than I can say about most game I have played. I'd say the difficulty does increase rather fast with the diffrent difficulty settings, but it could just be a case of me being bad at the game. :)
I am a big fan of the tabletop game and have played every expansion thus far released several times with friends; with that being said I find the PC adaptation to be decent. Mostly it does function as it should but bugs are still too frequent for my liking. The bugs are mostly the type that gets you stuck in some sub-menu mid game that makes the game impossible to progress without quiting out and starting from the latest save point. The above mentioned bug has accured during both multiplayer games and single player games. Still, the bugs are not severe enough to cause me to stop playing.
