Greetings from the Baryan Merchant's Guild! My first time playing a HoMM-like, and so far I like it. All the faction seems to be balanced well enough, and each has unique tactics based on their units and primary essence available (Rana 3 taught me the Repel + Fungal Mine combo). Over all a good thought provoking experience reminisent of classic turn-based strategies & 4Xs. The only critique I have is that they should include the skill and research trees in the tutorial and codexes. The skill system wasn't properly explained in the tutorial, and I had trouble grasping the tactics of choosing skills till several play-thrus. The research tree was eaiser to grasp, but it would be nice to have a full overview available for rechecks. Some of the unit upgrades are game changers and define the faction strategy (i.e. Rana).
