Ridiculous game. Tried playing the first campaign and got all the technologies and still could not beat the computer on Beginner. I will NEVER play this game again. What a horrible experience. All you do is click in this game, there is no strategy, no story, no FUN!
I only wish there was a cheat system. I am an adult, have a job and family to take care of. I do not have 120 hours to finish a game. I like to be able to at least cheat to see the end of a game that I paid PRECIOUS money for. Besides that if it was a great game then It would not be too big of a problem but this is only a mediocre RPCG. I wanted to give it 2 or 3 stars but because this will sit on my computer less than half competed and I'll never touch it again. Now, Dragon Age Origins on the other hand there was no cheat system that I was aware of and because it was a great game I did not even look for one.
I only had a slight tech prob on first installation but a re-install solved this. After that the game played like butter and was a definite evolution to XCOM enemy within. Making me want to go start from Enemy Unknown thru XCOM 2. Loved these! This is coming from a non nostalgic point of view. I did play the OG XCOM back in the day it came out (I'm an Ancient Dragon), but I shelved it and was not too impressed. But these games I think have the graphics, sound, story and in game tech details that I craved for the OG. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you!
Any game this old that I still play must be a FIVE star game. It was so good when made it is still playable today. It has such detail, options and huge war campaign style maps. This has been one of my best purchases on GOG. Thank you!!!

Why would I give more than one star for a game I do not play after over a year of purchase? That's the bottom line, my experience was so crappy I uninstalled it and never played again.
