No Man's Sky

An Honest Review.

I have been reading about people having issues playing on a multitude of system configurations, most of which seem to be frame rate or crashing. While I don't think you should have to own a custom gaming rig that cost over 3 grand to play any game, I have just such a device. That enabled me to play the game from launch for over 10 hours without so much as a hiccup, that being said it is well worth any additional wait while they patch things up. I do want to make it clear that as of right now you will need a powerhouse to play. This is an unfortunate issue, since it tarnishes an otherwise perfect launch, but again it is worth the wait. Possible SPOILERS!! Now into the game, first thing, INVENTORY! The starting inventory is extremely small, and you must keep it consolidated constantly. The first impressions slowly faded into a slight sense of monotony, collect resources, fuel ship, repeat. Units are rather easy to make, several elements are worth quite a bit. The game can be played how you want, you pick the path and destination. Overall, I love the game, it's fun just to explore sometimes. Planets ranging from scorched deserts to iceballs exist, and definitely more. Once the game has been optimized for most devices I do recommend giving it a try, there is so much to explore you will never see it all.
