RoboCop: Rogue City

Decent game, perfect Robocop Simulator

This game is a must play for every Robocop fan and is a continuation of Robocop 2. It captures the atmosphere, the different locations and the feeling of what it must be like to actually be Robocop perfectly. The story is really interesting, and a way better succesor to Robocop 2 than Robocop 3. You can recognize a lot of the different characters from the movies and the world feels period correct. Gameplay wise the game is generally fun, but the side missions can sometimes be a bit boring. For an example: In some missions you have to walk across a big part of the map, then talk to a guy and maybe scan something, and then go all the way back just to ask out another person. However, when you look at the game as a "Robocop sim", it makes sense that Robocop would also have to do boring things in his job as a Police officer. On the technical side: The graphics of this game are phenomenal, some scenes could almost be mistaken by shots from the movies. One thing that could be improved are facial animations. Sometimes they look a bit stiff, but i don't think that they are as bad as some people say. Also: The checkpoints are sometimes questionably placed, especially before the final Boss Fight. An option to manually save the game would be appreciated. There are a few Bugs in the Game, for an example I couldn't progress in one Level despite killing all enemies, and the game mechanics can sometimes be abused, where you can camp at a certain spot where the enemie can't reach you. This however, doesn't make the game even close to unplayble. Overall, if you are a Robocop fan, buy this game. If you have never seen a Robocop movie, you should watch the films first, because you could be disappointed if you look at it as "just another game".

Outlast: Whistleblower

Way better than the main game

IMO better than the main game. The levels are less linear, the scenarios are more disturbing and i enjoyed the backstory of the different characters more than the one of the main game. It reveals more details on the lore of the game and has way less annoying repetitive tasks. Definitively worth buying.

Outlast

Pretty cool but a bit overrated

The ideas of this game are very interesting, and the graphics still hold up well today. But honestly i dont think this is a 10/10 like many people would let you belive, maybe more of a 6,5 or 7 out of 10. The gameplay gets repetetive pretty quickly, you just run a around with your camera with some guy chasing you while you must complete a task consisting of 3 parts (like opening 3 valves). It kinda gets boring and less scary after a while. But honestly if you are more interested in the story then the gameplay and the game is on sale for a few Euros, i would still recommend this game for you, especially for the great atmosphere it has. The Whistleblower DLC is way better then the main game IMO.
