Well, it's not awful, but even ignoring the technical issues it's rather bland - the type of game that plays itself. However it does a decent job at creating an atmosphere through the level design and music, so that it's at least mildly engaging. For 10 euro and having nothing else to play it's acceptable.
REmake2 is one of my favorite and most replayed games, so I've been itching to experience the original for a while. From first launching the game 2 hours slipped past unnoticed. This is deservedly counted among the greats.
